Gloria Saya was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She undertook her studies at Kinshasa Academy of Fine Arts, and later at Manchester College. Gloria’s practice is very varied, working in painting, drawing, photography, textiles, sculpture, and ceramics. She is excited by the creative possibilities of all materials, and participated in several projects in her birth country.
